Detroit’s Al Kaline was the 12th member of the “3,000 Hit Club” and the first American Leaguer to reach the milestone since Eddie Collins recorded the feat nearly a half century before. Kaline’s landmark hit came against the Baltimore Orioles on Sept. 24, 1974. This baseball is personally hand signed by Al Kaline.
